These terms cover the use of the free Thenicknames nickname generator. By using the site you agree to use it for personal, lawful purposes and to accept that results are suggestions only. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.
Using the generator
The generator is free for personal use. You may copy the nicknames it produces and use them for your own profiles, games, teams, messages and gifts. You may not copy the site’s word lists or pages in bulk, resell access to the tool, or use automated scripts to request large numbers of results. The site may limit requests that look automated. No guarantee a name is free
Nicknames are generated from word lists and rules, so the same name can be made for other people, and a result may already be taken. The site does not check whether a name is available on Instagram, Discord, a game or any other service, and it does not promise that a result meets a platform’s naming rules. Check the rules and availability of each service before you choose a handle.
Results are provided as they are, without any promise that they suit a particular purpose. Names that happen to match a real person, brand or trademark are coincidental, and you are responsible for how you use them.
Acceptable use
Do not use generated names to insult, harass or impersonate another person, or to pass yourself off as an organization. Do not use the contact form to send spam or unlawful material. The site may block access to anyone who does.
